PT 2.5 Feed-through Terminal Block (3209510)

1. Product Overview

Model: 3209510, PT 2.5 Feed-through Terminal Block Brand: Phoenix Contact

The PT2.5 belongs to the CLIPLINE complete series, a DIN rail mount feed-through terminal block with Push-in spring connection technology. No tools are required for fast wiring. It adopts a 1-in 1-out through-type connection structure. With a compact width of only 5.2 mm, it saves space inside control cabinets. Widely applied in machinery, automation, railway transportation, process control and other industrial wiring systems. It is certified by UL, VDE, ATEX, IECEx and other international standards to meet strict industrial operating conditions.

2. Key Features & Advantages

Tool-free Push-in Connection Solid conductors or stranded wires with ferrules can be inserted directly for connection. For ordinary stranded wires, press the orange actuator before inserting the cable. It greatly improves wiring efficiency and reduces labor cost.

Compact DIN Rail Design 5.2 mm narrow width to save cabinet space. Compatible with standard NS35/7.5 and NS35/15 DIN rails. Snap-on installation, freely combinable with end covers and partitions.

Reliable Electrical & Insulation Performance Insulation housing made of PA material, UL94 V0 flame retardant grade, high temperature resistance and anti-aging. Built-in test socket for probe measurement, circuit inspection without wire disconnection.

Vibration & Shock Resistance Finger-safe protection design. Complies with DIN EN 50155 vibration and shock standard for railway applications, suitable for equipment under vibrating working conditions.

Complete Accessory System Compatible with end plates, marker strips, jumpers and test plugs for potential parallel connection and circuit marking. Fully interchangeable with the whole CLIPLINE terminal system.

5. Operation Instructions

DIN Rail Mounting: Snap the terminal onto standard DIN rail and press firmly. Multiple terminals can be assembled side by side.

Wiring:

Solid wire: Strip 8–10 mm insulation, push straight into the terminal for automatic clamping.

Stranded wire with ferrule: Direct insertion. For bare stranded wire, hold down the orange actuator, insert wire and release to lock.

Wire Removal: Press the orange operating button and pull out the conductor.

Circuit Test: Insert test probe into the front test hole to measure electrical parameters without disconnecting wires.

6. Notes

Keep wire stripping length within 8–10 mm. Overlong wire may cause short circuit; insufficient stripping leads to poor contact.

Do not exceed rated voltage and current. Bare multi-strand wires must be fitted with cable ferrules to avoid unstable contact.

This terminal is only for low-voltage electrical circuits. Do not use in heavily corrosive or continuously high-temperature environments beyond material limits.

Ensure the DIN rail is firmly fixed before installation. Check all wiring connections before power on.

Do not disassemble the terminal, damaged spring will result in connection failure
